Dexter Head Start will be closed Thursday, March 11.  Center staff will be canvassing the area for enrollment for next year.  School will resume on Monday.

Enrollment for Next Year

We are now accepting applications for next school year, to begin in late August or early September.  Interested families should contact the center by phone at 624-8876 or visit the center.  See our Enrollment page for additional information.   

If your child is three or four years old, he or she may qualify for Head Start.  You will need to bring your child's birth certificate, shot record, Medicaid, MC+ or other insurance card, and copies of your 2008 tax papers for proof of income.

We are now accepting applications for the current school year (2009-2010).  Your child must be three or four years old (or turn five after July 31, 2009) in order to enroll in our program.  See our enrollment page for more information.
